Ambassador attends Danone factory upgrade opening

Ambassador Florence Jeanblanc-Risler attended the opening of Danone Nutricia Australia New Zealand’s factory upgrade in Auckland on February 23 alongside New Zealand Agriculture Minister Damien O’Connor.

The French global early life nutrition company, has invested more than $85 million in New Zealand.

On Friday, 23 February, the company unveiled its latest investment – a $25 million major upgrade and expansion of its Auckland blending and processing plant.

The upgrade doubles production capacity for finished products, making New Zealand a critical, strategic supply point for local and regional markets.

Ambassador Florence Jeanblanc-Risler was proud to attend the opening ceremony of a development that brings important advances in traceability, creates jobs and bears hallmarks of French investment including innovation and a commitment to sustainability.
