Ambassador provides tourism insights at PECC seminar [fr]
Ambassador Florence Jeanblanc-Risler has provided a regional tourism outlook from a French perspective as Pacific Economic Cooperation Council members discuss sustainable tourism in Papeete, French Polynesia.
The Ambassador’s presentation on the regional tourism outlook for the Asia-Pacific economies was part of a two-day seminar hosted by French Polynesia which also covered environmental protection.
The presentation covered trends in established and emerging markets around the Asia-Pacific region.
The Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC) seminar is the second in a series of three examining the circular economy as a driver of economic growth.
Opening the seminar, President of French Polynesia Edouard Fritch noted the importance of cooperation to develop synergies to strengthen tourism in the Pacific in a sustainable an exemplary way while supporting social and economic development.
