Bastille Day 2015 [fr]

On July 14th, France celebrates La Fête Nationale, or Bastille Day, in France and around the world. Since July 14th 1790, this date has been a day of National pride for French people, as they commemorate the Fête de la Fédération which was held on the first anniversary of the storming of La Bastille.

Some 20,000 kms away from France, July 14 marks the occasion for French people to come together, to share a moment of conviviality with our Kiwi friends and to celebrate together the links shared by France and New Zealand. As for years before, the Alliance Française network in New Zealand invites you to take part in this years celebrations.
