Carabosse at the Auckland Arts Festival
French fire alchemists Carabosse are bringing their show “Fire Garden” to the Auckland Domain for Auckland Arts Festival 2016
Carabosse are world-renowned for transforming familiar city parks and urban spaces into large scale fire-gardens, after-dark fairytale places of pleasure where one’s deepest imaginings can be set free.
Compagnie Carabosse is a collective comprised of musicians, dreamers, metal-workers, and performers, and is based in Saint-Christophe-sur-Roc in western France. Formed in 1988, the group is world-known for its large scale installations staged in public spaces across Europe and beyond. Collaborating with New Zealand musicians and storytellers, Carabosse’s Fire Garden will be designed specifically for Auckland and the landscape of the Domain.
