The Pacific Fund of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs was created in 1985 to promote social, economic, scientific and cultural development and integration in the Pacific. The priorities of the Pacific Fund are the same as those defined by and for the Pacific region : www.forumsec.org

Proposals should therefore have a strong Pacific component and either have benefits for Pacific countries or the region as a whole.

They should also have active involvement from research institutes, cultural, sporting and development organisations etc. in the French territories in the Pacific (New Caledonia, French Polynesia and Wallis and Futuna).

Applications have to be submitted in French by email to the Cultural and Scientific Counsellor: cooperation.wellington-amba@diplomatie.gouv.fr.

Additional annexes in English or French may be attached but should be kept to a minimum.

The 2018 Call for Applications is now open. Please submit your proposals before 17 November 2017.
