Environment | Antarctic: creation of a Marine Protected Area [fr]

France welcomes the creation of a Marine Protected Area in the Ross Sea. It is a clear step forward for the protection of Antarctic marine flora and fauna.

France calls for the establishment of other Marine Prtoected Areas in order to preserve this unique environment and supports, in particular, with the European Union and Australia, the creation of such and area in East Antarctica.
